Shield Of Sgulah
The symbol of Sgulah, Knowledge, Books, and Arts, the Shield of Sgulah brings many different Kabbalastic concepts together in one beautiful piece. The word Sgulah (meaning Treasure and Remedy) contains the root word “Segol”, which not only means “purple,” but is also a vowel in the Hebrew language (the three small dots in an upside down triangle formation that appear beneath a letter and denote the short “e” sound). Kabbalah explains that each vowel is connected to one of the Ten Sefirot (the ten energy intelligences that function as a channel between the physical and spiritual worlds – see the Sgulah Bookstore for books which describe this concept in more detail). The Segol corresponds to the Sefirah of Hesed, or mercy/loving-kindness. Now, the numerical value of Segol is 93 (the letters of Segol are Samech = 60, Gimel = 3, and Lamed = 30), which is the same numerical value as the word “Magen,” which means, “shield.” In Hebrew, the Star of David as it’s known in English as actually the “Magen David”, the Shield of David, implying the power of protection. In the Shield of Sgulah, the three circles are representative of the Segol vowel, but are brought together with the triangle to create the Shield of Sgulah and meld the energies of Treasure, Remedy and Protection. |

The Arc of Creation
The Midrashim write that when the Israelites were of a high spiritual level and achieving their potential, the cherubim (angels) on top of the ark would face one another and prosperity ensued, but when the people’s spiritual level declined, the cherubim would face away from one another and many problems began. This, of course, makes sense when considering that the Hebrew word for angel is “Malach” (Mem Alef Lamed Chaf), and has a numerical value of 91. This number is significant in that it has the same numerical value as the word Amen, in addition to equating to the sum of the higher holy name YHVH (the Tetragrammaton) and Adonai, the lower level name of G-d. This beautiful amulet, made of silver (connecting the wearer to the energy of Hesed, or mercy - see the description for the Ring of 5 Metals for more on the Kabbalistic significance of metals), reminds the wearer of the constant opportunity and drive to attain one’s spiritual potential and invite prosperity into one’s life.

Silver Ana B’koach Ring – 42 Names
This beautiful ring features an inscription of the 42-letter name of G-d, the acronym made up of the first letters of the powerful Ana B’koach prayer/meditation. The Ana B’koach is one of the most powerful and all-inclusive prayers in Judaism and Kabbalah. It is made up of 42 words; seven lines, with six words on each line. The seven lines represent the seven days, the seven Sephirot, the seven heavenly bodies, etc., so the prayer can connect on to his own astrological sign, his own day of birth, or the appropriate day of the week during which the Ana B’koach is uttered. Contemplating and meditating on the letters on the ring while saying the Ana B’koach is a truly powerful way to attain peace and harmony within oneself and to pray for specific spiritual assistance (NOTE – Sgulah has crafted its own melody for the Ana B’koach making it easier to remember and use through the power of song. The melody plays on the Sgulah website, please contact Sgulah for a free MP3 of the song so you, too, can learn and use it). The ring reminds the wearer of the constant presence and availability of help and comfort from the spiritual system. The ring is made of the highest quality, pure silver and does not fade or wear. Also see the Silver Ana B’koach Amulet for a similar piece in necklace/amulet form.

Shield of Zodiac
This Sgulah-designed piece brings together the Shield of Sgulah with the concept of Kabbalistic astrology (see the description of the Shield of Sgulah for a full explanation of the central symbol). Each of the stones is a representation of the stone that corresponds to each of the 12 astrological signs (the diamond is an authentic stone). Kabbalah explains that the knowledge of astrological signs and one's own astrology is not for the purpose of succumbing to one’s pre-determined fate, but to be conscious of those negative tendencies and positive abilities which one is born with and can use to overcome any effect which one’s astrological sign bears on him/her. This piece is a constant reminder of that goal. The metal is pure white gold and does not fade or wear.

Ring of 5 Metals
In Kabbalah, metals are the earth’s manifestations of the various energies that balance our universe, which is the reason certain metals were specified in such detail in the directions for making the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy Temple in the Torah. For example, silver corresponds to the energy of Hesed (mercy/loving-kindness), gold corresponds to G’vurah (strength/power/judgment), and Copper corresponds to Tiferet (beauty/harmony). This very unique ring is manufactured according to instructions from the Holy book “Sefer Refuah ve Hayim” (The Health and Life Book). Sgulah’s Ring of 5 Metals differs from others available elsewhere in that this ring is embedded with two of 72 Names of G-d. On one side, the Samech Alef Lamed connects the wearer to the energy of prosperity (having the same numerical value as Amen, 91), and on the other side the Alef Lamed Dalet connects the wearer to protection from “evil eye.”

Double Lamed Silver – Aquamarine, Virgo
Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburg, the famous Kabbalist who lives in Kfar Chabbad in Israel, designed this amazing piece. The depiction of the heart is clear, but notice also that the heart is made from two Lameds facing one another. Lamed is the twelfth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, but is the only one that stretches above the line that represents the top of all the other letters, representing a special connection to the higher realms. Furthermore, the Hebrew word for heart is “Lev” (Lamed Bet), which not only begins with a Lamed, but also has the numerical value of 32. This is an extremely significant Kabbalistic number because it represents the coming together of the 22 Hebrew letters and the Ten Sefirot, the foundation elements of the universe. Finally, the two lameds represent the coming together of the man and woman, groom and bride, coming together to bridge two hearts through the power of the letters and the Sefirot and connecting to the higher realms through the Lamed. Each Silver Double Lamed is available with a different stone corresponding to the wearer’s birthstone according to his/her astrological sign (the pictured item is Aquamarine for Virgo).

Shield of Eve
Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburg also designed this beautiful piece. It is composed of three different symbols. In the middle is the most famous, the Magen David, which has six points. Layered on top is the five-pointed star, commonly misunderstood as a pagan or Satanic symbol, is actually a very positive shape known as the Star of Solomon. Beneath both of them sits the eight-pointed star, known as the Star of Abraham. Together, there are 19 points in the configuration (8 + 6 + 5 = 19). This number is significant because it is numerically equivalent to the name Havah (or “Eve” in English), the first woman. Having thus connected three Sages and the protective power of the first embodiment of the female energy in this world, the Shield of Eve acts as a very potent protection from negative forces.
