The Story of the Tobia Rava Sgulah Collection

The thirty-six paintings and eight posters that make up the Tobia Rava Sgulah Collection (offered on this website and at the Sgulah Gallery) represent the result of an exclusive licensing agreement between Mr. Tobia Rava, the artist, and Sgulah - School of Mystical Thought. According to this agreement, Mr. Tobia Rava delivered to Sgulah thirty-six digital reproductions of his original paintings. Sgulah requested the world famous digital outfit G2 Graphic Services of Hollywood to scan the photographs at the highest possible resolution. These scans have been transferred to a very reputable Los Angeles based art gallery called Art Territory that specializes in high quality digital printing of oil-on-canvas images utilizing the most advanced plotters in the industry. Every scan has been meticulously evaluated by professional graphic editors and sophisticated computerized equipment to insure they are identical to the original.

These images have been subsequently plotted by Art Territory experts on a special quality artistic canvas utilizing the latest digital technology that guarantees these amazing paintings to last at least 100 years without fading. Mr. Tobia Raba and his wife visited Sgulah in September 2005 and examined every painting and every poster. After such careful examination, Mr. Tobia Rava personally signed limited edition of thirty-two Certificates of Authenticity for each of the thrity-six paintings in the Sgulah Collection. This is an amazing rarity for any limited edition!

In addition, Art Territory has framed every one of the thirty-six paintings in a very attractive contemporary silver frame and delivered the works to Sgulah for an exclusive exhibition.  Eight of these paintings have been selected to become collectible posters. Every poster has been printed using the same advanced digital equipment as the paintings, and each comes with the name of Tobia Rava and Sgulah School of Mystical Thought clearly identified on these special design images. These posters are beautifully framed in dark cherry thick frames and covered by a special artistic glass. You can also purchase these posters unframed for $130 each.
